Vettex Pty Ltd handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what the site collects, why, and what you can ask of us.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the project location and your message. If you call or email instead, we keep what you tell us.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. The site also uses your IP address briefly to stop the contact form being sent too many times in a row.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The home page stores a single flag in your browser’s session storage so an animated figure plays only once per visit. It holds no personal information and clears when you close the tab.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and provide our services if you engage us, and to keep a record of enquiries received. We do not sell personal information, add you to a mailing list or send marketing you have not asked for.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that run the site and our email, and only so they can do that work:
- Vercel, which hosts the website
- Resend, which delivers contact form enquiries to our inbox
- n8n, which records each enquiry in our records
- Google, which provides our email and the spreadsheet those records are kept in
These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Europe and Asia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Storage and security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep enquiry records for as long as they are needed for the purposes above or to meet our legal and business obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
Contact us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
